MAGEN seminar
Recognizing danger
Managing conflict
Responding decisively to violence
MAGEN, a practical self-defense seminar designed for real-world environments. Rooted in AVIIR’s "Detect To Protect" approach and authentic Israeli Krav Maga, this hands-on program focuses on recognizing danger, managing conflict, and responding decisively to violence.
The seminar is divided into three core pillars:
- Situational Awareness: Learn to identify warning signs, understand the "Timeline of Violence," and position yourself safely in public spaces.
- De-Escalation: Master verbal and psychological tools to set boundaries and reduce aggression before it becomes physical.
- Krav Maga Combatives: Practice simple, instinctive techniques to defend against grabs, strikes, and multiple attackers when avoidance is no longer an option.
We utilize scenario-based training tailored to daily life, including home invasions, weapon defense, family protection, car hijackings, robberies, and terror attacks.
Participants follow a complete protocol covering prevention (Before), tactical response (During), and recovery (After).
Emergency response to protect a community or a religious institution, such as alerting for help, lockdown protocols, evacuation procedures, and stop-the-bleed training, are optional topics as part of this seminar.
This seminar requires no prior experience or athletic ability and is ideal for parents, professionals, and community members seeking practical safety tools.
Participants leave with sharper awareness, effective de-escalation skills, and the confidence to protect themselves and their loved ones.
